Louis Vuitton is a French fashion house founded in 1854. It consists of items ranging from Luxury trunks, leather goods, ready to wear, shoes, bags, sunglasses, watches, jewellery and books. The label is well know for its LV monogram. According to a study in 2010 the Louis Vuitton brand is the world's 29th most valuable brand - right after Wells Fargo and before Gillette. Louis is one of the most counterfeited lines in the fashion world due to its image of a status symbol. Only a small percentage of the items bearing the LV logo are authentic, ironically the monogram was created to prevent counterfeiting. Louis Vuitton is estimated to be worth 19.781 billion - certainly more than enough money that I am sure they wouldn't mind sending me one trunk for free :)
